As of today Microsoft has made available a Beta edition of security software that will be free for use. From what I've read so far it has a very light foot print on the system and ranks high in how well it works at prevention. Stan, Lisa, Dawg and I took a ride to go to a NASCAR race an NHRA race and to ride the Tail of the Dragon. There are so many great roads in the area it would be impossible for me to list them all. I spent my Labor day weekend doing a lot of riding which suites me just fine. August 29th was my aunts 75th birthday so I started my long weekend early.  Riding to Cedar Rapids wasn't all that exiting since it was on the super slab. Iowa Harley Girl had a post awhile back about the big rock. This last weekend was the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset, Iowa. Yes it is the same place the movie Bridges of Madison County with Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood was filmed. This rider instructor, Dan Bateman, that I visit posted a blog today about cold weather riding and the like. One of his remarks was about how we all have some part of our skills that are more lacking then others. One of his examples was low traction conditions when it’s cold.
