Update: I must say I’m thankful to have friends here like you people. Ms. IHG and Ms. Pat deserve a great big thank you for emailing me to make sure I was alright. Sorry I didn’t respond but like I said, life got in the way of me blogging. I figured the best way to say thank you was to make a post.
It does feel good to have the time to do this again. I actually tried to post this photo last weekend but as I neared my spot my phone rang with a friend needing help. So needless to say I never made it to my spot. Add in the fact I got real busy at work and I just didn’t have the time to write a post.
So I’ll be making the rounds to catch up on what everyone’s been doing in the next few days. From what little I’ve read some of you are having a great summer of riding! I’ve got new tires so needless to say I’ve been getting some good miles in too.
I hope my next post has a picture I’ve been wanting to take. With any luck I’ll get that done this week sometime. It may come as quite a shock to some because I know it sure caught me off guard. So until then we’ll see you around soon.

This is a lot more inviting than the first picture.
ooooh ahhhh scenic... i bet the roads are fantastic too!! have a great ride
I still see no bikinis or party boats. Good to see you are still around.
I was beginning to wonder about you. Glad to see you're still out there rolling down the road. Don't be a stranger.
Thanks for posting something. I was beginning to worry!
bikinis? boats? im in the wrong freakin place... :)
Phew...glad to see your alive and kicking! I'll be watching for more post to come.
Glad you're back again...good post...what did you all say about Bikinis?
have bikini and passport, will travel ;)
WW: Yes it is summer in Iowa and this time of the season is perfect. Just the right temps, light winds and no damn bugs at night!
Ms M: Where in the hell did you come from? We've got some good roads around here but none that will rate with the country side you live in. I know because I've rode in your area before too. As far as the bikini's go on this little lake. If I don't bring one along with me (and NO I'm not wearing it) chances are there will be no such shots from this spot.
Mr. Dave: Yeah I know. See above comment. It looks like I'm going to have to come up with a Plan B and bring one along next time. Would you settle for just a bikini without the boat?
Mr. Dean: I was beginning to wonder about me too. Too many short commutes to and from work after a long day put a hold on any type of fun. I hate it when live gets in the way like that.
Ms. IHG: Like I said it was you I was thinking of while I rode to my spot. No need to worry about me though, but thanks for the concern none the less. Nice to know someone might actually give a shit!
Ms M: You again? The grass is always greener...
Ms Pat: Yep still here kicking and screaming. With any luck one of these near post will cure a popular request and even have some eye candy for Andy too!
Mr. Baron: Good to be back because it meant I got to ride farther then just work and home for a change! damn what is it with all this bikini stuff? I must be missing something. I'll have to look closer at this picture and see if I can spot it.
Ms. M: Damn you are fast becoming my biggest fan. Oh wait you just want to see the bikinis too. Damn. BTW dear you don't need a passport to travel to Iowa. It is when you cross over the Mississippi river into that "other" country you will need that. They all talk funny over there.

i rode all over Nebraska last year, must've needed the passport for there... LOL... those shallow warm lakes and air boats, now that was seriously fun.
I've been in that no-post lane myself. Glad all is well and looking forward to reading more.
Glad you're still around...I was beginning to wonder. Love the pic. :)
