Still Around

I apologize for not being around lately. I haven’t even been around to even keep on your blogs. I’ve just not had time to sit down as make a post worth reading, much like this one. Then add in the fact it seems to snow everyday and I can’t go riding my mood is less then chipper you might say. In fact some say I’ve been just down right grumpy! Not to mention since I can’t ride I have no riding to post about.

I’ll get around to everyone’s blogs and catch up shortly. I’ll also try to come up with something to write about that might be worth reading. I am still working on the Virtual Machine post, not that it is of much interest to a bunch of motorcyclists. I might also write about some of the computer projects I’ve been working on.

I want to thank you all for checking in and I hope you are all do well.

Glad to see that you're still alive and kicking!

Yes, winter does suck! I find myself sometimes searching for something to blog about as well. I try to keep up on everyone else's blog though. (It lets me live vicariously through my warm-weather brothers and sisters.)

Ditto on the not being able to ride frustration. I can't keep complaining too much though, as I do have the option of moving.

I hear you about not wanting to put up just anything for a post and I'm glad. I think quality keeps readers coming back more than quantity. I also want to thank you for your software posts. I have meant to post some questions, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. When I have some time to really sit down and think...lol.

My youngest said the same thing. Cabin fever I said. So we went out to the shop and started his up. He felt a weee bit better.

I almost started to feel quilty because I have been riding every day. It was 38 here this morning with a 5 mph wind. Cold by Arizona standards, but it has warmed up to 62 and I'll ride to the bowling alley in an hour or so.

Warmer weather is coming Fasthair, keep remembering those great rides from last summer and it will be time to roll again in no time.

Those two software posts had enough material to keep me going for a long time. Post when you're ready. I'll just keep checking in now and then.

I figured you were tinkering with all that software and your computer blew up. Welcome back!

Thought you got caught by the Abominable Snowman or something! Before you know it you’ll see green fields around you and asphalt under your bike. Glad to here from ya ;)

Good to hear all is well, don't worry winter doesn't last forever, it just seems like it does.

Maybe you can rekindle your enthusiasm with some posts from the archives. Might be something your newer readers haven't seen.

Hurry up Spring!

I hear yah. I have been scarce myself. We all have crap to take care of.

Hey, I was wondering if I could have a poster of made up from that pict on your site. I want to put it up in my shop. Do you have a high rez digital image?

WOW can you feel the love in this room? Nice to know everyone is still stopping in to see if I have anything worth while to say, I’m humbled, I’ll try not to disappoint. It blows me away that a post about nothing still garners comments of this level. I guess maybe Jerry Seinfeld’s show about nothing had something to it after all.

FLHX Dave I’m floored you would want a copy of my header photo. Since it is a scan of a photo I don’t know how hi-res it is. It has a resolution of 1500x1216 so maybe that will be enough to do what you want with it. Otherwise I’ll have to see what else I can do for you. Check your inbox.

Instead of trying to say thank you to each of you I will just say thank you to all of you for stopping by, it means a lot!

I'm glad you brought it up Dave. I've often thought that it's a pretty cool picture too.

Dean: There is a post in the archive (one of my first posts) about how that picture came about and it's histroy.
